Narva Art Residency (NART), in collaboration with the Narva City Architecture and Urban Planning Department, is inviting applications for a two-month residency in Narva, Estonia.
This opportunity centres on the creation of a new large-scale public installation or sculpture located on the edge of the Pähklimäe district. The selected artist will develop a work that enhances public space, with a strong focus on the creative use of light—whether through natural reflection, seasonal variation, or designed illumination.
The residency emphasises process and community engagement, with the artist expected to take a hands-on role from concept through to completion, while connecting with local residents. The final work will become a long-term addition to the urban landscape.
Eligibility: Open to artists, architects, and creative practitioners internationally (Brisbane-based artists are eligible)
Support:
- €3,000 artist fee
- Minimum €11,000 production budget
- Up to €1,000 travel support
