Natacha Arena is a visual artist who focuses on painting as principal medium. She started her Fine Arts and Art History studies in Brussels (Belgium) and she pursued her studies in Singapore, LASALLE College of the Arts where she obtained a Master Degree in Fine Arts in 2010.

Arena’s art practice operates between figuration, landscape and abstract painting. Her research is re-questioning process in painting and the role of intuition through diverse modi operandi and materials. The concept of ‘fragmentation’ and ‘traces’ are widely translated in her work exploring and creating a visual language that acts as a link between painting and installation, investigating the relation between space, perception and memory.
