Entries are now open for the Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize 2026, a leading national award celebrating creative responses to environmental issues.
Now in its sixth year, the prize invites artists and designers from across Australia—including young people aged 7–18—to submit work engaging with themes of the environment, sustainability, and our relationship to the natural world.
Selected finalists will be exhibited across two venues—Manly Art Gallery & Museum and Curl Curl Creative Space—offering a platform for diverse perspectives on environmental challenges and future-focused thinking.
The 2026 prize is judged by designer and educator Nila Rezaei and visual artist Laura Jones, and features a substantial prize pool of $46,000 across four categories:
Art Prize: $20,000
Design Prize: $20,000
Young Artists & Designers: $3,000
People’s Choice: $3,000
