Open Sky

Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00pm - May 28

Metro Arts, Level 2, 109 Edward St, Brisbane

Open Sky presents the work of four important Brisbane-based artists whose work, in diverse ways, questions what it means to be alive now. The exhibition seeks to respond to today’s fast-paced lifestyle, examining how our continually shifting contemporary environment disrupts our attempts to establish stable forms of belief and structure in our daily lives. In an era of ‘information overload’ have we expanded our understanding of our world and humanity, or merely added more clutter to the barricade of confusion? How does this affect our sense of ‘being’ in a fleeting world?
