Established in 2024, PARKER Contemporary, is a fresh addition to Brisbane’s cultural precinct, South Bank at 38 Hope Street, with its focus on captivating narratives within contemporary printmaking, papermaking and artists books.
Featuring established and emerging artists, PARKER Contemporary fosters dialogue around these evolving practices, expanding the understanding and appreciation of works on and of paper within contemporary art.
Under the guidance of Gallery Director Emily Parker, PARKER Contemporary is driven by an expert eye and a deep passion for contemporary printmaking and papermaking. Emily provides specialist knowledge and a vital space for dialogue and discovery, ensuring the gallery is an active and ever evolving space for these mediums.
