Peter Kozak is an emerging artist whose practice focuses on representations of human fragility and vulnerability in video and video performance art.
In this exhibition Kozak looks at our relationship with objects, marked in some way by human activity, that have been discarded, lost or intentionally left out in the elements. As opposed to the depiction of objects in advertising, where everything is smooth and new, Kozak’s videos show objects that are used, worn out, helpless and flailing in an effort to represent a more accurate and relatable perspective of human experience.
