Prita Tina Yeganeh: My Soil Farsh فرش: Iteration 3 (Place, as Guest)

Deadline:

8 February
-
March 22
Redland Art Gallery

My Soil Farsh is an ongoing, participatory project by artist Prita Tina Yeganeh exploring place, diaspora, and community-building. Grounded in the Iranian concept of Farsh (Persian carpet) as both a physical and symbolic site of gathering, this third iteration reimagines the tradition as an evolving ecological artwork that fosters connection and togetherness.

For the first time, this iteration offers the wider community insight into the intimate processes behind the making of the Farsh. The exhibition brings together ancient and contemporary tools used in soil preparation and printing, video documentation of the making process, and printed works that archive the Farsh’s visual language. Through these elements, Yeganeh invites audiences to reflect on shared ground, cultural memory, and collective presence.

A full workshop and public program runs alongside the exhibition.

Opening Event:
6pm, Friday 6 February 2026

Floor Talk:
10am, Sunday 8 March 2026
