Artisan is pleased to present PULP FRICTION: cutting, sewing, folding and weaving, interpretations of traditional and contemporary papercrafts from the Chinese diaspora.

PULP FRICTION is a group exhibition showcasing designs, installations and complex paper works to examine cultural issues surrounding Chinese diasporic communities.

Artworks by Christine Ko, Pamela See and Yanqiao Jiang investigate Chinese folk culture, cultural tourism, commodification and the stereotyping of cultures.
