Entries are now open for the 2026 Queensland Regional Art Awards (QRAA), Australia’s largest regional art awards program for artists living in regional, rural and remote Queensland.
With a total prize pool of $326,800, the QRAA offers cash prizes, exhibitions, residencies and professional development opportunities across a range of categories.
Categories include the Queensland Regional Art Awards Overall Winner, Mervyn Moriarty Landscape Award, First Nations Artist Award, Remote Artist Award, Emerging Artist Award, Young Artist Award and People’s Choice Awards.
Free professional development resources are also available to assist artists with preparing their artist statement, CV, artwork photography and submission.
Entries open: Monday 10 August 2026
Entries close: Friday 18 September 2026, 3pm
Finalists announced: 15 October 2026
People’s Choice opens: 16 October 2026
