The Queensland College of Art, Griffith University is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Brisbane Pride Festival. Queer Here celebrates the talents, vision and experiences of queer artists and designers from Brisbane/Meanjin.
The exhibition will run from 14 – 30 September 2023 in the Grey Street Gallery, Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, 226 Grey Street, South Brisbane, with an opening event scheduled for 5.30pm on 14th September.Artists are asked to submit their works before midnight on Monday 28th August Works can be submitted in any medium, including performance. Artworks will be selected by a committee, and $500 will be awarded to one artist on opening night. There is no theme for the exhibition this year.Artists are asked to present their work ready to exhibit, framed or in a manner that can be presented easily.
