‘Reveal’ showcases a mixture of surreal, abstract, pop, botanical and hyperrealist artworks. Featuring 7 artists of immense talent, this exhibition has been carefully curated over the past 15 months and will display some of the artist’s most recent and compelling works.
Whilst the majority of the artists are considered as emerging they are accruing countless achievements. These include selection into some of the most prestigious art prizes in Australia; such as the Archibald, Paddington, Black Swan, Mosman and Blake Art Prizes.
“I have been following the careers of each of the artists over the past few years” said Mike Mitchell, Director of Mitchell Fine Art. “They are all artists of extraordinary talent and it is reasonable to assume that their careers will be both long and successful. We are thrilled to be showing such an eclectic, high quality group of artists.”
The artists hail from all corners of Australia; from Darwin, Broome, NSW’s Southern Highlands, Sydney and Brisbane. Although varying in style, the common thread in this exhibition is that they are all artists destined for incredible futures and would make a fantastic addition to any art collection.
‘Reveal’ will open at 6pm on Friday 3rd June with most of the artists in attendance. An artist panel talk will be held on Saturday 4th June at 2pm in the gallery. The exhibition will be on display from 1st – 25th June at Mitchell Fine Art in Fortitude Valley. The gallery is open 6 days a week, Monday to Friday 10am to 5.30pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm.
