Metro Arts presents the first of its new Townhall gatherings, bringing together Brisbane’s creative community to connect, share ideas and hear updates as the organisation launches a new direction for 2026.
Rewiring Townhall #1 invites artists, arts workers and sector professionals to come together for an open conversation about the future of Metro Arts and the opportunities ahead.
Attendees can expect updates on:
-
funding outcomes
-
visual arts residencies
-
performance and exhibition opportunities
-
upcoming creative jobs
Participants are encouraged to bring questions, ideas and feedback as part of the discussion shaping Metro Arts’ next phase.
Free registration is appreciated but not required.
Following the Townhall, the evening continues with the return of FEMIOKE, Metro Arts’ beloved feminist karaoke night hosted by local performer Amy-Clare. Bookings are required for the FEMIOKE event.
Accessibility:
The venue is wheelchair accessible. Patrons requiring accessibility support or Companion Card bookings can contact Metro Arts directly.
