Woolloongabba Art Gallery

Since 1989, I have been making art.
I have made art works for gallery shows both solo and group.
I have made artwork for private commissions.
I have used my art practice to make contributions to commercial enterprises the likes of Mambo and Deus Ex Machina being used extensively in clothing and retail installations.
I make something almost every day.
Making things gives me purpose.

R.Moore 92_22 is not a survey show.

Having recently moved studios I have uncovered many artworks which have been stored at the bottom of draws or stored in the darkened corners of my sheds.
I collect things, I recycle, and I review artwork constantly in my studio practice.

The August exhibition at Woolloongabba Art Gallery gives me the opportunity to show these sometimes never seen artworks.

By presenting this show I am reconnecting with these works.
I am looking at the past but from a present mindset.
