Sarah grew up in Ireland. She gained an Honours degree in Graphic Design from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 1979, before migrating to Australia. Sarah freelanced broadly across the areas of graphics, cartooning and illustration, then focusing on printmaking six years ago. Sarah believes her fevered imagination is fed by her interest in the poetry of Hillaire Belloc and Edward Lear, both of whom have published their poems alongside glorious illustrations. Sarah has established a lifelong passion of combining words and images in her works, which are held numerous private collections.
