Submissions are now open for Sculpture by the Sea Bondi 2026, inviting artists from Australia and around the world to present sculptural works along Sydney’s iconic coastal walk.

Sculptures of all types, forms, sizes and materials are eligible for entry, with submissions open to artists at all career stages from emerging to established. Selected works will be exhibited as part of Sculpture by the Sea Bondi from 16 October – 2 November 2026.

The exhibition includes a range of artist awards and support opportunities, including the $70,000 Aqualand Sculpture Award, an acquisitive prize with the winning sculpture placed permanently in New South Wales.

Additional opportunities include:

  • Helen Lempriere Scholarships for Australian artists

    • $35,000 senior-career artist scholarship

    • $30,000 mid-career artist scholarship

    • $25,000 emerging artist scholarship

  • Clitheroe Foundation Emerging Artist Mentorships

    • Two mentorship awards valued at $15,000 each

Submissions are open to Australian and international artists.
