Submissions are now open for the 22nd Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe, one of Australia’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibitions, held along the iconic Cottesloe Beach in Perth, Western Australia.
The exhibition welcomes senior, mid-career and emerging artists, with sculptures of all types, sizes and materials eligible for submission. Selected artists will exhibit their work in a spectacular coastal setting visited by thousands of people during the event.
A number of artist awards and subsidies have already been confirmed, including:
- Mostyn Family Foundation Artist Subsidy: $5,000
- Pommery Champagne Artist Award: $5,000
- Kids’ Choice Prize: $2,000
- Australian Artist Cost Contribution: Up to $4,500 for Australian artists exhibiting in both Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2027 and Sculpture Inside.
Artists do not need to apply separately for awards or subsidies, with recipients selected from the exhibiting artists.
