Join artist Holly Anderson to consider the sensations of light and landscape in a roaming plein air drawing class.
In the grounds surrounding Caboolture Regional Art Gallery, participants will explore surprising ways to depict how their body might be involved with the landscape. How do we draw the sun’s circular shimmers through trees, the heat rising off bitumen, its burn on the back of our neck, or the ‘floaters’ that slide across our sunburnt retinas?
This experimental drawing class will challenge people of all artistic abilities to contemplate the more ephemeral elements of landscape while exploring practical drawing skills.
