Part of Peter Breen’s life narrative is his unavoidable attraction to silence, stillness, thresholds and liminal spaces in the pursuit of mystery and spiritual realities. This exhibition of working drawings and painted sketches represent his exploration of silence through two media: the writings of Thomas Merton – mystic and Trappist monk and, Peter’s recent holiday in County Kerry, Eire.
