Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2027 South Side Festival Artist Commission, presented by Frankston City Council.
Now in its sixth year, South Side Festival is a ten-day celebration of contemporary arts, culture and heritage across Frankston, featuring performances, exhibitions, installations, creative experiences and interdisciplinary projects.
Artists from across Australia are invited to submit proposals for new work to be presented as part of the 2027 festival. Successful applicants may receive up to AUD $5,000 (plus GST where applicable) to support the development and presentation of their project.
Applications are submitted through the festival’s online application portal. Applicants are encouraged to read the commission guidelines before applying.
