STABLE is a contemporary art space located underneath a Queenslander in Meanjin/Brisbane. It aims to share a wide variety of work, from a wide variety of artists, both emerging and established. STABLE hopes to make a positive contribution to our community and the rich history of artist run initiatives in this city.
Founded in 2017 by Bridie Gillman and Alexander Kucharski, from 2021 STABLE will be directed by Bridie Gillman and Kylie Spear.
STABLE acknowledges the Turrbal and Yuggera people as Traditional Owners of the lands on which its gallery stands. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
