Deadline: 8 May

Applications are now open for the Stardust Residency 2026, a studio residency program hosted by Watch This Space in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

The Stardust Residency was established in honour of artist and educator Suzi Lyon, whose practice explored the connections between everyday life, community and broader social and ecological systems. The residency reflects Lyon’s inclusive and collaborative approach to artmaking and supports artists interested in experimentation, critical thinking and community engagement.

The program provides a studio space for up to eight weeks between mid-August and late September, along with a $2,000 artist fee. Artists at any stage of their career and working in any medium are encouraged to apply.

The residency is open to artists based in Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Applications must be submitted as a single PDF responding to the application prompts.
