 Join the multidisciplinary Drawn Thread artist Michelle Vine for a fun adventure into soft sculpture as you subversively repurpose household appliances into soft, furry, colourful companions.  What better way to kick back at the drudgery of domestic chores than to craft your way to a humorous subversion of tools of domestic labour? You’ll learn the skills necessary to create a creature of comfort, or a cheeky, fun sculpture from unwanted household goods. You’ll have access to (faux) fur, scales, feathers and leather to create and adorn your new pet and have a whole lot of sensory fun subverting those oppressive domestic icons and imbuing them a new, comforting existence you can actually enjoy!
