From the Heath

Interwoven experiences of hope and happenstance are intricately detailed in Summer Aldis’s new collection of chiaroscuro drawings.

Sentimental musings on fate as a woven fabric of thread informs the repeated symbolism. Conceptualised at a personal crossroad- to become a teacher, or to pursue a career in the arts- this collection captures the emotional tapestry of an identity lost and forged anew.
