The Emerging Curator Program (ECP) supports an early-career curator to develop and deliver a funded group exhibition at Curl Curl Creative Space, with mentorship from the curatorial team at Manly Art Gallery & Museum.
Designed for curators ready to take the next step, the program offers hands-on, real-world experience across all stages of exhibition development. Participants will build professional skills, expand their networks, and gain insight into the workings of the contemporary arts sector.
Mentorship and support include:
- Concept development and research
- Artist selection and liaison
- Exhibition design and layout
- Writing (essays, wall labels, catalogue text)
- Development of exhibition materials
- Budgeting and administration
What You Receive
- $2,000 Curator fee
- $3,000 Artist fee
- $850 Exhibition materials budget
