Each year 4 x $5,000 scholarships are awarded to artists under 30 to assist with the cost of overseas travel to:
• undertake formal study or
• undertake a residency or mentorship (planned program with a professional artist) or
• undertake informal study for a planned research project.
** NB: informal study means independent travel to go exploring something or somewhere overseas with the aim to inspire perspective, new ideas and artistic development **
