Bad Sports is a vibrant and theatrical exhibition by The Huxleys exploring the intersections of sport, queerness, humour and performance.
Drawing on their experiences of growing up in Australia, The Huxleys transform the playing field into a site of creative resistance. Through photography, costume and performance, the exhibition reimagines sport as a space where queer identities can challenge convention and embrace the absurd.
Filled with sequins, spectacle and Dada-inspired energy, Bad Sports celebrates the freedom to play—figuratively, physically and creatively—on one’s own terms.
This exhibition is a touring project from the Museum of Australian Photography.
Free entry. No bookings required. Suitable for all ages.
