The Lennox’ is a significant waterfront tower and foreshore boardwalk on the Parramatta River adjoining the CBD.
Project Managers EQ Projects invites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professional artists to submit their qualifications to be considered to undertake a large scale artwork to the building facade addressing the riverfront.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
‘The Lennox’ is a 43 storey residential tower in Parramatta, Sydney, with mixed use podium, located on the Parramatta River between Church Street and Marsden Street. The new north facing riverfront boardwalk and signature building frontage created by the project has nominated a large scale artwork to be installed to the 24 stone faced columns to the building facade, each approximately 22 metres high. These columns a highly visible and engage with the waterfront plaza and with podium levels of the building, with stairs and walkway colonnades along the inside edge of the columns.
PROJECT BUDGET
‘The Lennox’ project construction value is $200 million. The value of the public artwork is yet to be finalised as it is dependent on finalisation of artistic input, to be inclusive of all artist’s fees, as well as associated expenses for design, fabrication, insurance, transportation and installation.
