The Tent Dress Project: IVY NIU

Deadline:

Newstead Studios

A fashion collaboration that brings together ten artists to create ten one-off tent dress creations.

Brisbane designer IVY NIU’s Tent Dress Project is a collaboration with 10 featured artists from Australia and abroad, where fashion meets art in a colourful expression of creativity.

Featured artists Frances Cannon, Bianca Mavrick, Ellie Hopley, Kitiya Palaskas, Emily Green, Rachel Burke, Chantal Fraser, Phil Ferguson, Tantri Mustika and Nadeesha Godamunne have each interpreted Ivy’s signature tent dress in their own style, creating one-off garments to be auctioned during BAD Festival. Proceeds will go directly to each individual artist to support their work.

The Tent Dress Project features a three-day display of the final garments as well as a ticketed talk with designer Ivy and artists/creators Bianca Mavrick and Rachel Burke.
