Entries are now open for the 2022 Tom Bass Prize and we encourage professional and non-professional artists aged 16 years and over to enter.
This important and prestigious Prize is a celebration of the human form and its influence on today’s sculptors. It is an acknowledgement of the influence of Tom Bass AM had as one of Australia’s preeminent public sculptors.
In 2022, we will be offering an increased prize pool of $26,000, with the main Tom Bass Prize now worth $18,000. This year we are also proud to be able to award all finalists a $200 stipend to help cover their exhibition costs.
We welcome three new Judges to the panel for 2022; gallerist and art advisor Sally Dan-Cuthbert, sculptor Lea Ferris, and Director of Sydney Contemporary Barry Keldoulis.
