STABLE

Looking at bright things is an exhibition of new paintings and light interventions by Tor Maclean. The paintings themselves are studies of light using the interior view of windows from the various houses she has lived in, from childhood to the present as source material. Examining and observing light in her day to day through photography and light refracting techniques has been an extension of an ongoing enquiry into active stillness.
Tor Maclean is an artist that explores meditative processes and observations through her practice of expanded drawing, painting and installation.

Accompanying essay by Caitlin Franzmann.

OPEN Saturday 12 November 11am – 4pm, join us for afternoon drinks with the artists 2 – 4pm.
CONTINUES Sunday 13 November 11am – 4pm.
