Applications for the 2015 travelling scholarships are now open in the categories of acting, painting, sculpture and singing. Over $200,000 worth of scholarships are available to support emerging young Australian born artists aged between 21 -35.
All applications must be submitted via the online system with relevant attachments included. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before applying, and view the hints and tips page for further information. Applications for this scholarship close on Wednesday 17 December 2014.
To apply for a scholarship, you’ll need the following information:
- Aims and activities to clearly identify how you will use scholarship monies
- Budget of your proposed aims and activities
- Audition pieces / portfolio works uploaded to a third party provider (details below)
- Two references from relevant teachers, mentors etc not more than one year old
It is important to note that these scholarships generally support artists on the cusp of their career. Those artists may have already spent time overseas and need further funding to continue to build their career. It is not, however, a requirement that you have been overseas already at point of application.
