Applications are open for the 2025/2026 trenarren HOUSE Residency Season, inviting artists from all creative disciplines to immerse themselves in a unique rural residency centred on the theme Community.
Located on the coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom, trenarren HOUSE is a multidisciplinary artist-run residency where creativity and wellbeing intersect. Artists are encouraged to dedicate focused time to their practice while living alongside a small community of fellow creatives in a supportive environment inspired by nature, collaboration and self-directed exploration.
Residencies are available from one to six months, welcoming practitioners working across visual art, sculpture, ceramics, photography, performance, film, music, writing, architecture, curatorial practice and interdisciplinary arts.
Residents receive a private room, shared studio facilities, fresh locally sourced meals, access to creative spaces including painting and writing studios, a sound recording suite, yoga studio, musical instruments, woodland gardens and wellness activities including yoga, sauna, sea swims and nature walks. Participation in workshops and community activities is entirely optional, allowing artists to shape their own residency experience.
Set within over two acres of woodland and just a short walk from the beach, trenarren HOUSE offers an intimate environment for artists seeking time, connection and creative renewal.
