Truth-worship is a first solo exhibition by Alrey Batol. Starting out primarily as a performative sound and video artist, now exploring new media installation and electronic sculpture, Alrey has been sporadically performing and exhibiting in Brisbane mainly in underground circles. The main themes in his works are concerned with dialectics and conceptual interactivity. Influenced by Zen teaching as a participatory and an inevitably bewildering, disconcerting function for an elevated misunderstanding.
