Fukutoshi Ueno – ‘Passaggio’

Fukutoshi Ueno brings traditional elements of Japanese culture to a contemporary design context creating artefacts that explore simplicity, practicality and multi-purpose functionality.

Om Mee Ai – ‘Nebula’

Om Mee Ai’s practice extends beyond the creative artefact’s physical form to engage the viewer. In her series of paintings, she utilises a technique of complex and meticulous processes of repetitive ‘taping, layering and wiping’ to assemble colour, texture and improvised visual play.

Kaori Kato – ‘Crystallization’

The relationship between the hand and material is at the core of Kaori Kato’s creative practice. Kato explores paper in a three dimensional sense where its inherent qualities are the principal factor to the resulting artefact.
