Underbelly Arts is dedicated to supporting artists to create innovative new works. They are currently inviting artists to participate in the 2013 Underbelly Arts Lab and Festival. This opportunity will provide successful applicants with a two week development residency at the Underbelly Arts Lab, a financial contribution towards their project, plus a significant amount of in-kind and production support, leading up to a presentation at the Underbelly Arts Festival, currently planned to return to Cockatoo Island in mid 2013.
This round of EOIs is only for large scale or ambitious projects that can demonstrate they need a significant lead-time to deliver the work. This may be a project that requires longer periods of creative development, or projects that wish to apply for certain funding rounds in order to facilitate the development of their work.
