Are you interested in gaining experience in the visual arts? The UQ Art Museum is committed to offering opportunities for student involvement throughout the year. These include internships, paid casual positions and volunteer roles in the areas of front of house, registration, curatorial, education, exhibition management and finance.
Positions are open to currently enrolled UQ students.
We are currently seeking candidates for the positions listed below.
 Please note:
- you must be a currently enrolled or recently graduated UQ student (within six months of graduation);
 - you may apply for more than one position, but please send a separate application for each;
 - newly recruited student employees and prospective candidates for these positions will be given the opportunity to attend Masterclass intensives at the UQ Art Museum during the Semester 1 mid-semester break (17 – 21 April, 2017).
Volunteers

- If you wish to volunteer in curatorial, please also include a 500 word sample of your art-related writing. This can be published or unpublished (e.g. piece of assessment).
Front-of-house Attendant

- Successful candidates will commence in May, 2017.
- Attendants will be expected to fill one or more 3 – 4 hour shift every week.
