Urbania #3 is a post-graffiti-themed group exhibition that forms part of an ongoing series bringing together small groups of independent artists connected to Brisbane.
Hollie Cassidy — Fragments
Fragments explores a period of deep reflection in which major life changes and formative influences are revisited. Cassidy considers the balance between chaotic re-traumatisation and the mindful process of redefining personal narratives. The works draw on fragments of unprocessed and repurposed collections, using design elements to symbolise introspection and incorporating media she has struggled to discard because of their personal significance.
Jordache Gage — DWELLING:FUNdamentals
Gage continues his investigation into the idea of home. Following the scheduled demolition of the house he shared with his daughter in January 2026, Gage responded to the loss of a place filled with family memories. The resulting installation explores grief, joy, resilience and reclamation, alongside a new selection of paintings, sculpture and photography.
Padoke — From the gutter to the gallery
A romantic story about the struggling artist, this work draws on graffiti as an Italian word for street art and as a tradition as old as the city itself. Inspired by walking the streets of Rome and following in the footsteps of generations before him, Padoke reflects on the enduring desire to make one’s presence visible through graffiti.
Rhys Viorr — At Eternity’s Gate with Bolt Cutters
Viorr explores fragility, impermanence and the impulse to create amid uncertainty. Ghostlike images evoke fading memories and moments slipping beyond reach, reflecting on the eventual deterioration of ourselves and the material world we inhabit.
