Claire Healy and Sean Cordeiro are a collaborative artist duo known for their sculptural and installation artworks that combine humour with art historical references.

We hunt mammoth presents a large-scale sculpture of a dismantled Honda car. A total of 121 individual parts are wrapped in jute rope and bamboo using the traditional Japanese packaging method known as tsutsumu.

Healy and Cordeiro bring together ancient and contemporary making traditions to interrogate systems of manufacturing and technology, and our complex relationships to them. The installation transforms familiar industrial components into something both archaeological and poetic.

Visitors are invited to explore the installation up close and discover more about the artists’ processes in the gallery’s free, hands-on creative space.

Free entry. No bookings required. All ages welcome.
