Whispers From The Woods brings forth The Whispers From The Woods Series, a multi-platform body of work years in the making. Born in Cumbria, England, Carys studied Arts (BA Hons) in the UK and USA and now resides in the Redlands, QLD. The Whispers From The Woods Series sheds light on the inner self, through awareness and the age-old wisdom of nature. Carys has drawn on her many talents as an artist and her family network, to create large-scale creative ceramic sculptures, a mind-blowing oracle card deck, self-authored companion book and easy to use App.
Carys has exhibited painting, printwork and ceramics in Australia, America and England. Her take on ancient themes and knowledge is distinctive, drawing the viewer in through intricate design full of colour and imagination. The heart of her work is to create magic and transport the viewer.
