Make unique prints from leaves, stencils, and other found objects in this three-hour art workshop.
Artist facilitator Sandra Pearce will guide you through printing techniques using a gelatine plate and roller. You will get to experiment with layering, composition, and combining colours.
No art experience is required and all materials will be supplied. Please wear an apron to protect your clothes. This workshop is suitable for adults 18 years and older. Cost is $20.
About the Artist
Sandra Pearce is a Brisbane/Meanjin based artist working with artist books, printed images and paper installations. Her art practice responds to ideas relating to nature-human conflicts, the impacts of urbanisation and the human manipulation of landscape.
Sandra has exhibited widely in both regional and private art galleries and has participated in several artist-in-residence programs throughout Australia. Her Print & Paper studio ‘Art from the Urban Wilderness’ is located in the Brisbane suburb of Banyo.
