Your Time, My Time

Deadline:

Shop 13/14 Little Stanley and Grey Streets, South Bank

The Wandering Room would like to invite you to an exhibition by Lugas Syllabus and Eric Rossi. Your time and my time is a mixed media cultural exchange between local emerging artist Rossi and rising Indonesian star Syllabus and is a prequel to their upcoming exhibition at the Woolloongabba Art Gallery (running from Friday the 16th of September until Saturday the 29th of October).

After having spent time together in Lugas’ hometown Yogyakarta and Eric’s base Brisbane the pair are exhibiting both solo and collaborative works. The show combines drawing, painting, and sculptural objects and reflects the geography and symbolism of both places. Lugas has become known as a colourful character on Grey Street interacting with passers by while residing at South Bank (his second home and studio in Brisbane). This ‘closing’ event is taking place this Saturday the 10th of September from 5:30pm until 7:30pm at shop 13/14 (formally known as ‘Egg’) Little Stanley and Grey Streets, South Bank. This is the second installment of our Wandering Room on Grey Street project. Entry to the exhibition is on the Grey Street side and the space is located diagonally opposite from the South Bank cinemas.
