Get creative by spending Sunday at GOMA, exploring the ‘Margaret Olley. A Generous Life’ and Ben Quilty exhibitions through pop-up performances, hands-on workshops, curator tour, talks and more. Everything is free!

WORKSHOP: DRAW ALONG WITH ME!
12.30–1.15pm | GOMA
Audiences of all ages will discover tips and tricks for approaching portraiture, and take inspiration from the ‘Margaret Olley. A Generous Life’ and ‘Quilty’ exhibitions. Facilitated by Kellie O’Dempsey

POP-UP PERFORMANCES
1.15–1.30pm & 2.15–2.30pm | GOMA
Margaret Olley was a keen listener to ABC Classic, and often had the radio on in the studio while she worked. Be inspired and experience a live performance by contemporary classical group Nonsemble, while you wander through the Gallery.

TOUR: SLOW-LOOK
1.30 –2.00pm | GOMA
Go on a journey across the ‘Olley’ and ‘Quilty’ exhibitions, exploring the connections between their work and lives. Look slowly and closely at one artwork by each of the artists with QAGOMA curators.

TALK: CREATIVE EXCHANGE
2.30–3.00pm | GOMA
Margaret Olley and Ben Quilty were excellent friends. How does friendship, mentorship and collaboration influence and nurture your creative practice?

Hear from members of Digi Youth Arts – Alethea Beetson (Artistic Director) and Lincoln Savage (General Manager), as they discuss how creative exchange influences their work. Hosted by Katina Davidson, Assistant Curator, Indigenous Australian Art, QAGOMA.
