Deadline:

Webb Gallery, QCA

In 2015 my entire genome was sequenced from a vial of my blood. The genetic information contained in my DNA (some 3.2 billion letters) was delivered to me on a cloud-based server where it is stored, ready for viewing, possible analysis, or predictive diagnosis. My current artistic practice seeks to negotiate viewing the body in a disembodied state, and examine the metaphoric life of DNA.

Opening Event: Friday, 23 September 2016, 6 – 8 pm
Venue: WEBB Gallery, QCA, 226 Grey Street, South Bank
Gallery Hours: 10 am – 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday
