1. A fanciful mental illusion or fabrication.
2. A grotesque product of the imagination.
3. A fabulous beast made up of parts taken from various animals.
Illusion, dream, fantasy, delusion, spectre, snare, hallucination. ‘Chimera’ will explore the state of escapism within art, providing a temporary escape from everyday life. The QUT art students will utilise powerful elements of light, sound and film in the exhibition display.
