The Wandering Room would like to invite you to part II of Andrew Forsyth and Ross Manning’s residence as part of our Wandering Room on Grey Street Project, their second opening entitled Rukus. Rukus follows on from The Plastic Arts which occurred a fortnight ago.
Rukus will take place this Saturday the 15th of October from 6 until 8 pm at shop S13/14 Little Stanley and Grey Streets, South Bank. For the exhibition the artists will be taking their construction and technical forays further this time instead of focusing on light and forward projection, the artists will be working with kinetics, film, backward projection. Andrew’s films which comment on banal objects will be presented in a number of ways while Ross’s works will include mechanics, fan power, and the moiré pattern (an effect which occurs from overlaid sets of parallel lines).
