Project Gallery, QCA

Please join us for the opening event of Xiaohui Yang’s Doctoral of Visual Arts examination exhibition at the Project Gallery on Friday, 8th March from 6pm.

“The jewellery objects attached to our skin, not only decorate the body but also affect the wearer’s body space, physical behaviour, physical attitude and body culture. My research focuses on
analysing the relationship between jewellery and body space.

By making jewellery with different materials and intended for
different forms of wearing, I aim to detect and interrupt the
personal and interpersonal spatiality around bodies in ways that explore and moderate physical and cultural body perceptions. “

– Xiaohui Yang

Opening Event: Friday, 8 March, 6pm – 8pm
Exhibition Times: 10am–4pm Tuesday–Saturday
Closed Sunday & Monday
Where: Project Gallery, 226 Grey Street, South bank, 4101
