The Artspace Studio Residency Program provides local, national and international contemporary visual arts practitioners, curators, theorists and writers with subsidised studio facilities for the development of new ideas and work.
Artspace operates four residential and six non-residential studios on-site in the Gunnery Building, Woolloomooloo. These residencies are generally offered for periods of between two and six months. Successful applicants are charged a subsidised studio rental. Artspace also operates an Open Studio space where resident artists may be offered the opportunity to publicly present work in progress.
