Somerset Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from Somerset and South East Queensland artists to create a large-scale public artwork on a redundant concrete water tank at Twin Bridges Reserve, Fernvale. The commission forms part of the Somerset Fish Habitat Revitalisation Project, an initiative of Resilient Rivers South East Queensland.

The mural will celebrate local aquatic habitats and threatened species, with a focus on environmental restoration and conservation. Artists are encouraged to respond to themes including aquatic threatened species, ecological care, intergenerational responsibility, community connection, and First Nations values.

Artists submitting an EOI must provide a CV, examples of previous work, concept ideas, and an indicative budget.
