Awarded biennially, the A.M.E. Bale Travelling Scholarship and Art Prize supports Australian artists working in traditional styles. There are three categories: a $50,000 Travelling Scholarship, a $5,000 Art Prize in oils and/or acrylics, and a $5,000 Art Prize for works on paper.
