You are invited to celebrate the beginning of the new financial year by attending the participatory installation ‘Work Party’ by Aishla Manning, upstairs at Outer Space on Friday 19 July.

When: Friday 19 July 6-8pm

Where: Upstairs at Outer Space, 1/170 Montague Rd, South Brisbane QLD 4101

What to Expect: There will be a party in the break room, but there are also office tasks to complete. These tasks are suited to participants of any work experience level. Professional attire is recommended.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided for this event.

Aishla Manning is an interdisciplinary artist working predominantly in time-based media to explore the tensions and absurdities of the everyday. Last year Aishla participated in the Outer Space residency program and has exhibited extensively in Queensland, including at Kunstbunker ARI (2018), CLUTCH X Outer Space (2017), The Institute of Modern Art’s Green Screen (2016), as well as interstate at Testing Grounds (Melbourne, 2017), Gaffa Gallery (Sydney, 2017), Bus Projects (Melbourne, 2016) and Feltspace’s Feltdark (Adelaide, 2016).

Outer Space is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
